DANIEL H. BUTTS
Biography and Business Background
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Daniel oversees the day-to-day operations of Battaglia Group’s various business interests. Prior to joining the company, Daniel spent three years with CNL Financial Group in both real estate capital markets and acquisitions. Most recently he served as Director of Investments for CNL Income Properties, a REIT that acquired approximately $1 billion in real estate during his tenure. Prior to starting his career in real estate Daniel spent six years in the investment planning business, working for both Morgan Stanley and Charles Schwab.
Mr. Butts attended the University of Florida where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and later earned his MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College. Daniel is a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and is an alumnus of Leadership Winter Park (Class XVIII). He currently serves on the Winter Park Library’s Board of Trustees as Treasurer and executive committee member. He has also spent the last 10 years serving on the Board of Directors for the Winter Park and Crosby YMCA Family Centers, and is a past Board Chairman. In 2007 Daniel was appointed to serve on the Orange County School Board’s Concurrency Stakeholder Committee, a group charged with working to implement school concurrency in Central Florida.
Daniel and his wife Ansley live in Winter Park with their three boys David, Will and Jacob.
